Public relations practitioners’ moot revival of East Africa Public Relations Association
East Africa Public Relations Week heard that communication is vital to the implementation of the EAC integration Agenda because it provides opportunities to connect key players by promoting dialogue & informing policies.
The Public Relations Society of Kenya (PRSK) together with the Public Relations Associations of Uganda (PRAU) and the Public Relations Society of Tanzania (PRST) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to among other things revive the East Africa Public Relations Association (EAPRA).
The MoU signing was held on 15th November 2022 during the inaugural East Africa Public Relations Week (EAPRW) that is ongoing in Kenya at the PrideInn Paradise Beach Resort Convention Centre and Spa Mombasa, Kenya.
The EAPRA will be the voice regarding image issues in the East Africa Community. It was agreed that Kenya will assume chairmanship for one year.
