Police hunting for Gunner who killed security guard at Wobulenzi microfinance
The deceased was identified as Odong Leon, 20 years a guard from Security Group Africa, SGA.
A joint security team has embarked on a manhunt for an assailant who shot and killed a security guard at Advance Smart Microfinance in Wobulenzi town.
The police received a report from the Mayor of Wobulenzi at about 1300Hrs on 7th December 2022 that there was a shooting where an assailant dressed like a lunatic shot a private security guard.
Our territorial police in Wobulenzi responded to the scene immediately and found the victim lying dead in a pool of blood.
The deceased was identified as Odong Leon, 20 years a guard from Security Group Africa, SGA.
The assailant fled the scene with the gun used in the shooting and also robbed the deceased’s gun.
The joint team has so far recovered some items suspected to belong to the assailant who fled to the valley.
A case has been registered under Wob-CRB- 466/2022 and the forensic team has documented the scene pending further investigation.
