Daniela speaks out on 16years of domestic violence with Jose Chameleon
The undisputed king of local music Jose Chameleon in 2021 announced that his marriage with wife Daniella Atim had ended.
Social media specifically Instagram was awash with a post from Daniella Atim, revealing how she allegedly experienced domestic violence during the past 16 years of marriage with celebrated musician Jose Chameleon also known as Joseph Mayanja.
Daniella, who moved out to the United States 5 years ago, explained that she had gone to seek asylum for many things among which included domestic violence.
“I moved out to the US to seek asylum from many things including domestic violence that I endured for 16 years. I am a single mom raising 5 kids on my own,” she said.
The undisputed king of local music Jose Chameleon in 2021 announced that his marriage with wife Daniella Atim had ended.
“I let you be Daniella. God bless you always. I can’t prove myself more than I have,” said the singer in his message.
According to Daily Monitor Daniella, who was the lawfully wedded wife to the musician, in 2020 went to court seeking to divorce her husband to end their nine-year marriage.
At that time, Daniella accused Chameleon of cruelty, saying that the singer would beat the mother of his five children whenever he returned home. She said she had endured the treatment since 2013.
However, the singer stated in a Facebook live stream then, that there would be no divorce and that he loved his wife very much.
In her Instagram post on March 24, 2024, Daniella further stated that even though her age she is turning out to be so serious, she is choosing to relieve her early life while healing from her nervous system.
“I am a beautiful work in progress. Say no to domestic violence,” she added.
Our efforts to get a response from the singer Joseph Mayanja were futile as his phones couldn’t go through.
