Captain Mike Mukula mediates peace between Alien Skin and Pallaso
The conflict between the two musicians dates back to 2023, when Pallaso was caught on video slapping Alien Skin, who at the time was relatively unknown.
Captain Mike Mukula, Patron of the Uganda Musicians Association, has successfully intervened to mend the strained relationship between singers Patrick Mulwana, known as Alien Skin, and Pius Mayanja, popularly known as Pallaso.
The two artists, who have been embroiled in a long-standing feud, have now chosen to reconcile and move forward amicably.
The feud reached a boiling point at the start of January 2025, when Pallaso attacked Alien Skin’s residence in Makindye, damaging vehicles parked in the compound. This act followed a series of escalating incidents, with many speculating about Alien Skin’s potential retaliation.
On Monday, however, the two musicians decided to end their hostilities and embrace a new chapter of friendship. Captain Mukula hosted a reconciliation session at his residence in Bugolobi, where he met with Alien Skin and Pallaso separately and later brought Pallaso’s parents into the discussion.
“I had an excellent reconciliation session with the musicians Alien Skin and Pallaso today at my residence in Bugolobi,” Mukula shared on Twitter. “I am delighted to say that we are making great progress.”
Photos shared on social media showed Alien Skin dining with Pallaso, his parents, and Captain Mukula, symbolizing a united front. Pallaso expressed his gratitude, stating, “Thank you, Capt. Mukula, for having me and my parents over for lunch today! Your support means everything. You’ve helped the music industry a lot, and I believe you can help us resolve this issue too. Let’s work together for a fair solution. Cheers to a successful resolution!”
The Origin of the Feud
The conflict between the two musicians dates back to 2023, when Pallaso was caught on video slapping Alien Skin, who at the time was relatively unknown. Alien Skin’s decision not to retaliate won him public sympathy, which significantly boosted his popularity and launched his music career.
As Alien Skin’s star rose, his relationship with Pallaso worsened. The feud reignited in late 2024, with Alien Skin targeting Pallaso during the Enkuuka festival on December 31 at Lubigi, Mengo. The following day, Alien Skin and his crew disrupted Pallaso’s performance at Forest Park Buloba, intensifying tensions.
In retaliation, Pallaso attacked Alien Skin’s home, resulting in extensive damage to vehicles. The incidents sparked public outcry, with many calling for reconciliation between the two artists.
Mukula’s intervention has now brought the two musicians together, with both pledging to work toward collaboration rather than conflict. This reconciliation marks a significant step forward for Uganda’s music industry, demonstrating the power of unity and dialogue in resolving disputes.
