Oboth said Parliament would continue engaging relevant authorities to address key service delivery gaps affecting communities.

The Speaker of Parliament, Oboth Oboth, has pledged to work with Members of Parliament to push for improved electricity access and stronger health infrastructure in Bugweri District.
Speaking during a thanksgiving ceremony for Wandera Sadala in Bugweri, Oboth said the government’s policy is to ensure that every district has a general hospital.
He committed to supporting Bugweri through Parliament’s appropriation process to facilitate the establishment and improvement of hospital-level health services in the area.
Oboth said Parliament would continue engaging relevant authorities to address key service delivery gaps affecting communities.
Wandera Sadala raised concerns over the district’s limited access to electricity and healthcare services, calling for more government support to improve the wellbeing of residents.
The commitments come amid ongoing efforts by government to expand infrastructure and enhance access to essential services across the country.
