Why Museveni is going to UAE for a 3-day official visit

While in the UAE, the president will also attend the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Summit and hold talks with government officials and the business community from the UAE.

President Yoweri Museveni will meet Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of UAE and ruler of Abu Dhabi during a three-day official visit, Sandor Lyle Walusimbi, the Senior Press Secretary to the President said in a statement.

The President left Entebbe for the UAE Sunday morning. He was seen off at the airport by the Vice President, Jessica Alupo, the Minister for Presidency, Babirye Milly Babalanda, the Head of   Public Service and the Secretary to Cabinet, Lucy Nakyobe.

The service officers were Lt. Gen. Charles Okidi, Commander Airforce; Brig. Gen. Christopher Damulira, Director of Crime Intelligence Uganda Police Force and Deputy Commissioner General Uganda Prisons Samuel Akena.

While in the UAE, the president will also attend the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Summit and hold talks with government officials and the business community from the UAE.
