Bulubandi Primary School gets 120M UGX lifeline from URA staff

URA surpasses fundraising target as staff rally to support children in need of new classroom blocks.

A powerful wave of hope has swept through Bulubandi Primary School after staff of the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) raised 120,000,000 UGX to help the school begin constructing new classroom blocks.

The donation was announced during the Taxpayer Appreciation Day, where URA Commissioner General John R. Musinguzi revealed that the contribution had come directly from the generosity and compassion of URA employees.

“The funds came from the hearts of all URA staff,” Musinguzi said. “When we started this fundraiser, our target was 100 million UGX, but we are glad that we surpassed it.”

The support is expected to significantly improve the learning environment for the motivated and hopeful children of Bulubandi Primary School, who have been studying under challenging conditions. The new classroom blocks will offer them safer, more conducive spaces to learn, grow, and pursue their dreams.

The gesture not only reflects URA’s commitment to community upliftment but also demonstrates the power of collective goodwill in transforming young lives.
