Police arrests man who emceed at killer Freedom City New Year gig
Onyango said the MC, Elvis Francis Juuko, was arrested from his hideout in Mityana District.
The task team investigating the tragic new year concert incident, where 10 concertgoers died at Freedom City, on 1st January 2023, have arrested the Master of Ceremony (MC, emcee) who has been on the run, Patrick Onyango, the Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson has said.
Onyango said the MC, Elvis Francis Juuko, was arrested from his hideout in Mityana District. He has been brought back to Kampala and is right now detained at Katwe Police station, Onyango revealed. Onyango said Juuko is being charged with Rash and Negligent Acts.
Already the promoter of the event, a one Abby Musinguzi, has been charged to court with 9 counts of Rash or Negligent Acts
