Security guard shoots logistics company driver over alleged affair with wife

It has been alleged that the deceased was involved in extramarital affairs, which may have contributed to this unfortunate incident.

The Police at Kira road are investigating a murder by shooting that occurred on the evening of April 10, 2024, in Kyebando Kisalosalo Zone, Kawempe Division in Kampala District.

According to Kampala Metropolitan Police Deputy Spokesperson ASP Luke Owoyesigyire, the deceased has been identified as Adaca Sabina, also known as Alele Francis, a 36-year-old driver with Khan Logistics and a resident of Kyebando Kisalosalo Zone.

“At approximately 19:30 hours, the deceased was allegedly intercepted by an individual identified as Achol, a security guard with SGA Security Company and a resident of the same area. Sabina was shot around the chest/heart while on the phone, attempting to exit a corridor,” he said.

He however noted that the assailant fled the scene with the weapon, leaving the deceased in a pool of blood.

Owoyesigyire also revealed that It has been alleged that the deceased was involved in extramarital affairs, which may have contributed to this unfortunate incident.

“However, it is imperative to allow the ongoing investigation by the authorities to uncover all relevant facts and motives surrounding this heinous crime,” he said in a press statement dated April 11,2024.

“The scene of the crime was promptly secured by law enforcement, where thorough documentation and collection of evidence were conducted. The body of the deceased was transferred to KCCA mortuary for a Postmortem Investigation,” he added.

Owoyesigyire assured the public that every effort is being made to apprehend the suspect and recover the weapon used in this senseless act of violence.

“We urge anyone with information related to this incident to come forward and assist the authorities in their investigation. Further updates will be provided as the investigation continues.”
