Jonard joins Hoima Catholic faithful for a thanksgiving service, donates to education and Health projects

Hoima — Local Government Minister Jonard has joined faithful at Hoima Catholic Diocese, Bujumbura in Hoima City for a thanksgiving and fellowship service.

During the gathering, Jonard expressed gratitude for the encouragement from Vicar General Rev. Fr. Abooki, who praised his leadership and urged the congregation to recognise his commitment to service.

He also acknowledged the mentorship of Presidential Advisor and Omujwara Kondo Dr. Kabagambe Kaliisa, crediting him for providing guidance that has shaped his leadership journey.

Addressing the congregation, Jonard encouraged young people to respect and seek guidance from elders, saying mentorship, discipline and integrity are key in preparing them for leadership and community service.

As part of his contribution to community development, Jonard donated textbooks to pupils of St. Bernadette and supported the construction of the diocesan hospital.

He thanked the faithful for their prayers and warm reception, while pledging continued support towards initiatives benefiting the community.
