Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge emerges best safari lodge in Uganda at the World Travel Awards
The World Travel Awards (Africa & Indian Ocean Gala Ceremony 2022) were held Saturday night at the gigantic Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), Nairobi, Kenya.
In the hills and valleys that make up Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the home to the prized mountain gorillas in Southwestern Uganda, sits the ever-rising and magnificent Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge.
From the picturesque forest of Bwindi, at Nkuringo village, Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge trekked the lines of victory when it emerged as the winner in the Category of Uganda Leading Safari Lodge at the World Travel Awards 2022.

Nandudu Lydia, the Managing Director of Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge in the Kenyan capital to collect the prestigious accolade, one that is representative of their excellent work and services.
In this category, Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge saw off competition from Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge, Kyambura Gorge Lodge, Mahogany Springs Safari Lodge and Mihingo Lodge.
The victory this year reclaims the Award they have been winning since 2016. In 2021, Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge lost the Award to Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge. Now, they have it back.
The red-carpet gala, was attended by the leading tourism and travel industry figureheads and decision-makers from Africa and the Indian Ocean.
